Aniplex USA to release Oreimo

At their Otakon panel earlier today, Aniplex USA announced plans to release the anime series Oreimo on DVD. They will release it in a complete series set on October 18th, and it will include the OVA episode as well. The set will come with postcards, and a booklet featuring production info and character designs. The series will also begin streaming on Hulu and Crunchyroll starting on August 31st. When asked during Q&A, Aniplex revealed that Oreimo will be a subtitle only release.

Other news came out of the panel as well. Star Driver, a series that Bandai licensed earlier this year, will begin streaming on Hulu and Crunchyroll beginning on August 17th. There was no news about Madoka during the panel announcements, but during Q&A Aniplex revealed that the series will be dubbed when they eventually release it. During Q&A Aniplex also mentioned they were looking into a possible DVD release for Garden of Sinners, which was released on Blu-Ray earlier this year for $400. They also said they were looking into the upcoming Rurouni Kenshin series, as well as the movie Welcome to the Space Show.
